The NFSCo CIC is a not for profit Community Interest Company, which effectively means it is run for the benefit of the farming community. Its objective is to facilitate an efficient and competitive nationwide service for the collection and disposal of fallen stock, and does this by working with around 100 fallen stock collectors around the country.
NFSCo CIC is not a Government organisation, or a NGPB (Non Governmental Public Body) but was established by DEFRA and the Devolved Administrations of Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Its method of operation, operating systems, and terms and conditions emanate from that period, and were negotiated with all the relevant industry stakeholders.
This website should tell you everything you need to know, and we hope you find it useful and informative.
